#210 INTERNATIONALE

Especially known for their explosive live performances, The Last Internationale is constantly reinventing a new and eclectic sound that can be summed up as follows: guitar-driving, bass-pumping, boot-stomping garage rock, blues, punk, folk laced with a powerful, soul-charged (sometimes melodically haunting) voice that can fill any room. Opening for acts such as David Peel (Apple Records, John Lennon) and David Rovicks, The Last Internationale has been constantly touring the US and is planning their first European tour. I have never blogged about a band on the MI page but these guys are seriously awesome!

The Last Internationale can be heard on community and college radio stations throughout the US and Europe, including the award program Democracy Now! They will also be featured in an upcoming documentary, Freedom Rocks!, with music icons Bono and Sting.

You can check out their myspace space clicking HERE
(my personal favourite by them has to be 'walk away' & 'crawlin' queen snake)
